THANK YOU One of 20,302 Z28's built in 1969.
This beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is a great example of a very original car that has been only partially restored.
This is a true collector's item with original documentation, original Dusk Blue color, original matching numbers 302 V8 engine, original matching numbers 4-speed manual transmission and original 12-bolt POSI rear end.
It has been certified as authentic by Camaro expert Jerry MacNeish of Camaro Hi-Performance.
As the seldom seen original three broadcast sheets indicate this car was built February 17th, 1969.
The car was ordered with a Dusk Blue exterior, black standard interior and the following options (A01)- tinted glass, (G80)- positract rear axle, 3.
73 ratio, (J52) - disc brakes, (M20)- 4-speed transmission, (U63)- AM radio and (Z28) -Special Performance Package.
As the original dealer 1969 Chevrolet Pre-Delivery Service and Adjustment Check Sheet indicates it was sold by Lee Johnson Chevrolet located in Kirkland, WA.
From the information gathered the car found its way down south where it spent many years.
It was purchased by Joseph Zrostlik from Long Groove, IA in 2006 with roughly 58,000 original miles.
Prior to his purchase the car had been recently re-painted in its original color of Dusk Blue.
The color combination of Dusk Blue with white stripes is absolutely stunning.
Only 3.
3% of total Camaro production in 1969 was painted Dusk Blue which makes it very desirable among collectors.
Joseph enjoyed taking the car to shows and once on a Power Tour.
After 12 years of ownership he sold the car to Michael Mulvey of Denver, CO in 2018.
Mike reluctantly sold the car to friend and well-known classic car collector Bryan Frank of Scottsbluff, NE in 2020.
This car hasn't been publically offered for sale in almost 20 years until now.
The exterior body retains all the original sheet metal which is very straight with excellent gap lines.
The paint work is beautiful and has been detailed to a show quality shine.
All of the glass is original with exception of the front windshield.
The car sits on the correct Goodyear Wide Tread GT E70-15 tires.
The exterior is complemented a black interior that's in excellent original condition.
The trunk compartment retains most the original unique Los Angles splatter paint.
The engine compartment was lightly restored and presents very nicely.
The car is powered by its original matching numbers 302 V8 that was completely rebuilt in November of 2022.
The engine is coupled to the original matching numbers 4-speed manual transmission and the 12-bolt POSI rear end with 3.
73 gears.
The undercarriage was undercoated at the dealership when it was new and is rust free.
The original floor pans and trunk floor are in excellent condition.
This car was recently serviced and detailed which is documented with an invoice that is included.
