As the VIN number indicates this example was built on March 5th in Mahwah, NJ as a Sunliner Convertible with a 292 V8 engine.
This example has spent the last 22 years in two private collections with very limited exposure.
It was the product of a complete restoration.
The exterior presents very nicely throughout and is decorated with a rear continental kit.
It was refinished in the beautiful white and red color combination which highlights the exquisite bodylines.
The paint was recently detailed to a glimmering shine.
The new white soft top is power operated and works excellent.
Everything on the exterior has been restored or replaced such as all the glass and trim, wiper arms, dual mirrors, hood and fender ornaments, headlight bezels and headlights, front grill, front bumper, door handles, body moldings, rear quarter lower trim, tail light bezels and tail lights, rear bumper and emblems.
It rolls on 14 steel wheels with chrome hub caps and Coker Classic 215-75-14 whitewall tires.
The center of the hub caps matches the center of the red continental kit spare tire cover.
The exterior is complemented with a matching interior theme.
The pillars, dash, steering column, top of door panels and part of the seats is red.
The steering wheel and part of seats are white.
The door panel, seat inserts, carpeting and floor mats are black.

The engine sports red Ford valve covers and matching air cleaner.
The engine is cooled by the correct radiator that was re-cored.
The engine breathes through the correct manifolds and new dual exhaust system with Super Turbo mufflers that sounds excellent.
The chrome exhaust tips exit the rear under the bumper which gives it a slightly aggressive appearance.
